Privacy Policy
Gwenap recognize the importance of protecting our customers personal information. While doing business with you, we may have to gather certain information, such as your name, address, telephone number and e-mail address. We do not intend or currently store any of your financial details, such as credit/debit card numbers, in our database. Also, we will not store customer's financial details (credit and debit card numbers) anywhere on our system and in our records. Please be assured, that we will not sell, rent, trade or give away individual, personally identifiable information gathered by this website or by other customer service to any third party individuals or companies. We collect such information so that we can process orders, personalise your shopping experience, or send you the latest product information and other usefull material. If you do not wish to receive further material from us, you can simply respond to our e-mail and request to be removed from our mailing list.
Delivery
Standard shipping in the UK and Northern Ireland is efficiently handled by the Royal Mail, we use the Dedicated Business Courier Service RM Tracked. This service is fully insured, fully trackable and guarantees delivery within 3 working days of dispatch. RM Tracked items may be hand delivered by your postman but they also may be delivered later in the day from a van, Royal Mail depots will make decisions of delivery method based on merit. If they feel it is impractical for a postman to carry a packet due to weight they may opt for an alternative delivery method. Royal Mail tracked items can be delivered anytime between 08:00 and 16:00. Some sorting offices may choose to deliver on Saturdays. If you are not at home when the Royal Mail attempt delivery they will automatically look for a safe place or neighbour to leave the packet, if nothing suitable can be found they will leave a card with the relevant details and return the packet to your local sorting office. Using this Royal Mail card you can elect to collect the package in person or you can select a re-delivery date of your choosing online at www.royalmail.com. When returning an item for an exchange we will automatically send replacement items out using this service. RM Tracked will accept orders up to 10KG and costs £4.95. All orders placed Monday-Friday (excluding Public Holidays) before 15:00 will be dispatched the same day. All order placed after 15:00 on Fridays will be dispatched on the following Monday.
Returns Process
We are proud to offer a market leading 30 day money back guarantee on all purchases and 60 days exchanges policy. If for any reason you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase simply complete the Returns process and send your item(s) back to the address provided. Please return all items in the same condition they were received, complete with clothing bags and tags. Important information:-
Waist training is the process of permanently altering your figure by wearing heavy laced corsets for long periods of time (months). Although these garments may be suitable for waist training please be aware that there can be serious risks. Do not wear tight laced corsets when pregnant, it is very harmful to your baby. Waist training is not suitable for teenagers or adults who are still developing. We advise tightening these garments only on a rare occasion as over use can be very harmful to your body. If you have been waist training and notice a difference in your health, please consult a doctor. Keep garments out of the reach of children, although these corsets are manufactured to a very high standard theyt are made from small components which over time may come loose. The faux crystals are glue on, lacing can be removed and eyelets may come loose. These all pose a choking hazard for children, some of the materials that the corsets are made from are extreemly flammable, do not smoke in the corset. Satin polyester can be an irritant, for people with sensitive skin we strongly recommend you purchase a garment with a cotton lining. If you notice any form of rash or change in skin colour then please remove the garment straight away and consult a doctor. In the unlikely event of legal disputes against our business U.K law prevails.
Out of stock items:
In the unlikely event that any items are out of stock on your order, either a replacement item will be posted out or your order will be refunded a.s.a.p. All items that are replaced will arrive with a free returns label so that there is no additional cost for the customer to send the item back to us. If the replacement/s are not suitable then please contact us a.s.a.p so that we can resolve any issue that you may have.
Payment:
RBS World Pay, PayPal and Cheques are our preferred method of payment, we do accept postal orders in sterling only, please forward all cheques and postal orders to: Payments department. Gwenap 3 Princes Avenue, Hull, North Humberside HU5 3RX.
Terms of sale:
We reserve the right to end any promotion or offer at any time. If an order needs to be returned for an exchange then this must be done within 60 days of the payment being made. If you are returning an order for a refund then this must be done within 30 days of payment being made. We will not refund or exchange any garment that has been worn longer than what one would spend trying the corset on to check that it is ok. We ensure that our garments are sent out in perfect condition. However, should they not reach you in perfect condition, or in the eventuality they be faulty we will offer an exchange of goods or a full refund including the postage and packaging charges. Refunds may be given at our discretion and postage and packaging charges are not refundable unless the order is wrong or any items are found to be faulty. The cost for the return postage is the responsibility of the customer unless the order is wrong or any items are found to be faulty.
